Our Mission
Entertain & Inspire While Supporting Shelters
The NY Dog Film Festival® exists to celebrate the bond between dogs and people around the world, as seen through the work of brilliant filmmakers. At the same time, we want to raise awareness of the life-saving work being done at small rescues and large shelters by inviting their followers to the Festival and giving 10% of every ticket directly to those local shelters.
Our Non-profit Beneficiaries
In every location where the Dog Film Festival® travels, an animal welfare organization in the community will be the beneficiary of a portion of every ticket. These non-profit organizations will be honored as part of the festivities at every theater and have the opportunity for education and outreach about volunteering, adoption and fostering.
